Job Description

  • You are responsible for understanding the data structure and model them.
  • Using SSIS, ETL to manipulate the data cleanse it for ease of use.
  • Create Tabular models and cubes to create interface for the data.
  • Create Power BI reports to display the data by linking the data and logic in Cubes. Build a Datawarehouse and enable data quality measurement.
  • You are also expected to re-engineer existing SSAS tabular models to improve their extendibility, maintainability and row/role level security.
  • Analyse the data based on use cases for bringing business value like predictive and proactive service management.
  • Expert in the below field / technology
  • Data modeling (Understand the data structure model the data for enterprise use)
  • Datawarehouse/ Datamart
  • Data analytics / PowerBI Report creation / DAX
  • SQL Server and Query language
  • Visual Studio /SSAS /SSIS and Data load
  • Creating Tabular models and Data cubes
  • Re-engineering existing cubes to improve maintainability.
  • Role/row level security
  • Database views and complex joints
  • Concepts like Star & Snowflake schema, Fact & Dimensions, OLTP/OLAP
  • Knowledge in the below area is an advantage
  • Working in Agile/ Scrum framework
  • Microsoft Flow
  • Scripting & Python programming
  • Understanding of Data fabric
  • Communication & interaction with Project Manager to understand the requirement
  • Dashboard designing, development, and deployment using Tableau eco-system
  • Ensure delivery within the given time frame while maintaining quality
  • Stay up to date with current tech and bring relevant ideas to the table
  • Proactively work with the Management team to identify and resolve issues
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or advised

  • Contribute to dashboard designing, R&D, and project delivery using Tableau
  • Strong working knowledge and development experience with Tableau Server and Desktop Strong knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL, and Data modeling
  • Knowledge of databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
  • Exposure to alternate Visualization technologies like Qlikview, Spotfire, Pentaho, etc.
  • Good communication & Analytical skills with Excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilities Superior organizational skills, attention to detail/level of quality, Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Hands-on expertise in Power Bi administration and maintenanc
  • Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
  • Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in relevant datasets to locate influences.
  • Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.
  • Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.
  • Define, develop, enhance and track metrics and dashboard requirements to deliver results and provide insight and recommendations on trends.
  • Uses advanced data analysis and tools to ensure analytics are valid, meaningful, and provide actionable and comprehensive insights.
  • Support the team to help them answer strategic questions, make insightful data driven business decisions and properly design new initiatives.
  • Provide technical advice, consultation and knowledge to others within the relevant teams.
  • Provide support to address and resolve business issues.
  • Create relevant reports and present on trends
  • Analyse data across various platforms, including social media and present trends and patterns.
    extensive Power BI standard & custom visual development, design, wireframing, storyboarding / storytelling experience
  • Should have solid a SQL proficiency
  • Expert designer of information visualizations and dashboards
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis, modeling, report generation and warehousing/data stores.
  • Must have a high level of computer literacy with desktop and cloud-based productivity software such as Office365, Microsoft Office desktop applications, Microsoft Teams etc.
  • Expert in selecting the right dashboard design and deployment method for business requirements
  • Should Familiarity with SDLC and agile methodologies!
  • Prepare timely and accurate MIS reports and dashboards as required by the stakeholders
  • Interact and work closely with management, internal stakeholders & clients to understand the business information needs
  • Ensuring all reports & dashboards are prepared as per stakeholder requirements as per the desired frequency (weekly/ monthly/quarterly)
  • Ensure regular review with the MIS Team Lead for 100% accuracy before populating any customized dashboard or generating any customized report
  • Track and follow up with relevant stakeholders for timely updation and data management of parameters (key SLA metrics such as run-rate etc.)
  • Generate account level reports (billable and non-billable) on forecasting, scheduling (both onshore and offshore) and performanceagainst SLAs, CSAT, Quality etc.
  • Support and adopt tools and systems for efficient MISgeneration and reporting system
  • Continuous support to the manager in rolling out new techniques and initiatives to increase productivity
  • Providing update to the manager on the progress of any new MIS initiatives
  • Perform periodic maintenance and servicing of MIS system to improve operational efficiency
  • Adopt new tools, technology solutions and develop capability through training to improve his own productivity.
  • Develop analytical skills and understanding of statistical analysis to suggest improvement in the quality of analysis
  • Stakeholder management
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for collation and accuracy of data
  • Provide timely assistance in case of an escalation and support resolution of escalations/ issues
  • Should have good knowledge of MS Excel and hands on experience in making reports
